An overview of best practices in teaching physical education and nutrition in K-6 classrooms. Course includes content that teachers can use in their classes and a consideration of how to create an inclusive environment including strategies to prevent bullying.

Chris Hopper is chair of the Dept. of Kinesiology and Recreation Administration at HSU. He and Kathy Munoz are co-authors of Physical Activity and Nutrition for Health.

Kathy Munoz is a professor of nutrition in the Department of Kinesiology and Recreation Administration, and a Registered Dietitian through the American Dietetic Association.

Rock Braithwaite is an associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Recreation Administration at HSU, and a certified trainer with Olweus Bullying Prevention Program.
